Al-Ghurbaah

Al-Ghurbaah is a South African organization that provides spiritual and social support and counselling for queer Muslims across the African continent.

The organization worked to create safe spaces such as:

• An inclusive mosque, which provides counselling and allows queer Muslims to feel spiritually connected and accepted. 

• Integrated leadership trainings for queer Muslims and religious leaders (Imams) on the African continent to promote a message of compassion and inclusiveness for the LGBTQI+ within these communities.
