Menterprise Africa Executive Director Benon Herbert Oluka speaks at a Uganda Media Week se

Menterprise Africa is a hybrid social enterprise that amplifies African innovators' initiatives through multimedia storytelling, develops learning resources, and delivers capacity-building programs for underserved entrepreneurs and innovators, including youth, teenagers, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Uganda and across Africa.

Menterprise established their Academy to build the capacity of their beneficiaries in enterprise development, digital skills, and access to market opportunities. Through this flagship initiative, they equip beneficiaries with practical business knowledge, tech skills, and essential learning resources to support effective branding, promotion, and the growth of their enterprises.

With support from the New Africa Fund's Africa Impact Fundraising Grant (AIFG), they have established strong foundational systems, including a dedicated training facility, a data-driven beneficiary-targeting approach, and strategic partnerships, such as with the National ICT Innovation Hub, to provide post-training incubation pathways.

They have also launched their monthly Menterprise Talks series as a platform that connects emerging entrepreneurs with industry experts, thereby fostering mentorship, innovation, and continuous learning in their quest to empower their beneficiaries to transition into sustainable livelihoods.

Their work is driven by a commitment to inclusive economic empowerment, enabling vulnerable populations to build resilient enterprises and participate meaningfully in the innovation, digital and business ecosystem.
