Hope for the Innocent Child Development Foundation (HICDEF) works in five sub-counties in the remote Rukungiri district of Uganda with a mission to empower women, children, and communities to become self-sufficient, poverty-free, and violence-free.

Some of the organizations major accomplishments have been:

• The construction of a school to offer free education for over 50 learners yearly.

• A project for the construction of water access, providing access to a safe and clean water supply for over 220 households.
