Legend Golden Care Foundation (LGCF) is a Nigerian non-governmental organisation committed to advancing social justice and defending the rights of vulnerable and underserved populations, particularly women, children and youth. Our work focuses on access to security and justice, gender equality and the rehabilitation and reintegration of survivors of torture, survivors of gender-based violence, pre-trial detainees and children in conflict with the law.

 

LGCF provides pro bono legal support to pre-trial detainees, advocates for torture prevention and delivers trauma-informed mental health and psychosocial support. They also work to prevent and respond to gender-based violence while supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of children in conflict with the law. Through partnerships with government institutions, civil society and key stakeholders, LGCF works to strengthen systems, influence policy and deliver survivor- and child-centered support.

With the support of partners like NAF, LGCF is expanding its work to support children in conflict with the law (CICL) by promoting access to justice, rehabilitation, psychosocial support, education and reintegration opportunities.
