Worth a Haven Foundation
AIF Grantee

Worth A Haven Foundation is a Ugandan Community Based Organization established in 2011 to provide education to vulnerable children and help them achieve better education outcomes; skill the youth and women for improved livelihood, to help break the cycle of intergenerational household poverty and enable women to invest in their children's futures.
Worth a Haven provides quality education through nursery and primary school to children of 3 to 15 years, preparing them to join secondary education. But it is more than just a school: it is a safe place, a home, a foundation where children can grow in love and in dignity, and where women can thrive with strength and purpose. In present time, the school educates over 377 children, and pays Secondary School fees for 22 children; the organization has supported more than 400 youth and women through programs in sustainable farming, health education, and economic empowerment.
