Action Contre la Pauvreté (ACP) is a Burundian non-profit organization committed to fighting poverty and promoting a more equitable society. Under the leadership of Maître Jean SAMANDARI, ACP works with vulnerable communities by focusing on education, health, child rights protection, women empowerment, food security and environmental protection. The organization designs grassroots programs and advocacy initiatives that strengthen local capacities and provide disadvantaged families with the means to build a better future.
Through its initiatives, ACP places human dignity and solidarity at the core of its mission. By fostering strategic partnerships and engaging communities, the organization strives to break the cycle of poverty and create sustainable opportunities for children, youth, women and the Batwa ethnic minority group. Its vision is of a Burundi where every individual, without distinction, has access to education, health, social justice, and the essential conditions for holistic human development.
