Centre for Women Empowerment in Technology (CWE-Tech) is a Kenyan organization committed to bridging the gender gap and empowering women and girls in rural areas through technology, mentorship, and practical skills training.
Their digital skills and coding initiative equips young people with essential technological competencies - they have trained over 300 learners with coding skills, helping rural girls confidently enter the tech space and access opportunities in the digital economy.

Other initiatives by CWE-Tech include:
- 'Stitching Dreams', which offers hands-on dressmaking and fashion design training to women who dropped out of school due to various reasons. In September 2025, 21 women proudly graduated, now running small tailoring enterprises that sustain their families and uplift their communities.
- 'Binti Shupavu' is a girls’ mentorship programme, mentoring girls in rural secondary schools, building resilience, leadership, and life skills; no girl under this programme has dropped out of school since its inception, whereas in previous years the schools would lose 20% of girls due to early pregnancies, early marriages and other challenges faced by adolescent girls in the rural areas of Kenya.

In 2025, CWE-Tech co-developed the Dignity App with other partners. This app is designed to connect GBV survivors to timely support, enabling survivors to access psychosocial, medical, and legal help. The Dignity App enhances access to safety and dignity in rural communities.
